About TSS

Hello, welcome.

The origins of TSS began on my hard drive. At that time I didn't have the internet. I'd been playing Carmageddon 1 for years, and had recently bought the sequel, C2. I found some skins for the cars in PCZone, a games magazine, and got to editing those skins myself. I started making a website to put the skins on, in anticipation of getting the internet. Back then I named the site Hewer's Spray Shop... the name was lame, the design was lame, the host was lame. But it was my first taste of being a webmaster. I had named it Spray Shop like the ones in GTA.
It's all progressed from there really. I ditched the "Hewer's" from the name, replacing it with a much better "The". I looked around for a free domain name, and found one. After about a year I purchased the domain name... anyway, it all lead to where we are today.

Starting off as a Carmageddon site, TSS now also hosts files for other games such as the GTA series and Crashday.

Background

The Carmageddon trilogy is basically about a post-apocalyptic world where most of the 'people' have been turned into zombies. It is your job to drive around in modified cars, killing the zombies. There are 3 ways to win each race: kill all the zombies; complete all the laps; waste (kill) all your opponents. It's all basically good fun, which I probably didn't explain very well. Get the demo or something and you'll see what I mean.
